Description
At Lufa Farms, we're on a mission to create a better food system and a huge part of this is achieved by growing food where people live, and growing it responsibly. We also partner with hundreds of local farmers and foodmakers to offer a full lineup of fresh, local, responsible groceries through our online Marketplace, an ecommerce site we developed in-house. To bring our Product 2.0 vision to life, we're looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager.
This role redefines what it means to be a Product Owner at Lufa Farms. You won't just understand business needs and write requirements - you'll operate as a full-stack Product Owner who translates business needs into AI-powered automated solutions. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI, leveraging modern tools to deliver end-to-end automation rather than simply coordinating the delivery of tools.
Responsibilities
Translate business needs into end-to-end automated solutions, not just feature specs;
Use AI to prototype, validate, and ship solutions autonomously when it accelerates the outcome;
Own the roadmap for a product domain, from discovery through delivery to impact measurement;
Partner closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to identify processes ripe for automation;
Write clear requirements and work directly on data flows, no-code/low-code tools when that's the fastest path to value;
Measure the impact of shipped solutions and iterate quickly;
Help shape our Product 2.0 culture and level up the team on AI-powered approaches.
Requirements
5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a technical background (software engineering, data, or equivalent);
Demonstrated fluency with generative AI tools and AI-powered workflows (LLMs, agents, automation);
Ability to read, write, or modify SQL at minimum, ideally Python or JavaScript;
Track record of translating complex business needs into measurable technical solutions;
Builder's mindset: you ship, you don't just coordinate;
Strong collaboration skills across engineering, operations, and business teams;
A strategic mindset that connects product decisions to long-term business outcomes.
Schedule
Full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
Benefits
You'll be eligible to participate in the firm's health insurance, dental, and disability programs after completion of a probationary period (paid 50% by the employee and 50% by Lufa Farms);
Access to TELUS Health Virtual Care and the Employee and Family Assistance Program;
30% discount on your Lufa Farms basket.
